We're back in business!
The WCHS is now open for visitors, researchers and friends.
Our hours are every Thursday from 9 - 3 and every Third Thursday from 9 - 8.
Tours take about an hour, the last one starting at 2:00.
One does not have to be a member of the WCHS to use our great research library, but the support is always appreciated.
The WCHS as acquired microfilm of Williamson County court records for research and our patron's use.
One may view the microfilm at the WCHS or if one would like research done for them by the WCHS volunteers the cost is $7.50 per hour plus copying and postage cost.
At the time of this writing the WCHS does not have the ability to make copies of the microfilm with the machines we have available to us. We will go to the courthouse to obtain copies when necessary.
The late Alice Grant, a well known genealogist, cousin and friend of this writer left the WCHS a monetary bequest.
It is hoped some of the bequest will be used to purchase a microfilm reader/copier in the near future.
