West

I am looking to find anything on an Obadiah West that lived
north of Crab Orchard near the Nixville Rd. He and his
wife died in 1884 and are buried in the Brushy Fork
Cemetery. His children were: Robert J. West B: 1831,
Thomas L. West B: 1832, Miranda West B: 1832, Francis West
B: 1837, Quinter Benton West B: 1840, Alexander S. West B:
1842, and Cassandra West B: 1847. Any information would be
appreciated. I have quite a bit of genealogy on them but
could always use more.

Am looking for information the date of the death of my
great-grandfather, Elijah M. Hood Jr. I believe he died in
November or December 1899. He was married to Lousia
Sanders in Johnson County, but my grandmother was raised in
Creal Springs, so not sure which county he was in at time
of death. They had 4 children William, Clyde, Bessie and
Eva, Eva was born shortly after his death.

Evans Family

I don't know much about my family history. My grandmother
divorced my grandfather in the late forties/early fifties,
and she rarely talked him or his family, but here is what I
know.

Rex either had two sisters or daughters who were twin girls
(I can't remember which).

Rex also was a Barber in Johnston City, IL.

His son Amos was my grandfather. He served in WWII, and I
believe that he was an officer in the Army.

My father was born in 1948, and soon after that, my
grandfather and grandmother were soon divorced.

One other thing that I know is that my father, brother, and
one of my sisters all have naturally tanned skinned. In the
summer they almost look like Native Americans, but the
facial bone structure is definatly caucasian. My
grandmother once commented that my grandfather had the
same skin tones.

I know this isn't much, but I am trying to find more
information. I would appreciate any help.
