San Carlo Cemetery, Herrin, Illinois

I am searching for specific information regarding relatives
buried in San Carlo Cemetery. I have received very limited
help from the people at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Johnson
Hughs Funeral home. The impression they have given me is
that their records ar not very comprhensive, complete or
detailed. Any suggestions?
Researching: Ruggeri, Carnaghi, Calcaterra, Taveggia,

A.J. Ward/Mary J. Taylor

WARD, TAYLOR, 1800s. Seeking information about the parents
of A.J. WARD (possibly Andrew Jackson Ward) and Mary Jane
TAYLOR Ward. A.J. Ward married Mary Jane Taylor in
Williamson Co., IL in 1855. They appear on the 1880 census
living in the Union Precinct. At that time, A.J. Ward was
48 and Mary was 45. They are listed with their 8 children.
A.J. gives his birthplace as IL and Mary gives her
birthplace as TN. Family lore says that Mary's family died
in an epidemic, possibly cholera, and she was the only
survivor. This may not be true as the 1880 census index
cards also show a James Taylor (14), nephew, and a Margret
Taylor (13), niece, living with A.J. and Mary. A.J. died in
1899 in Ripley County, MO. I have found the obit. for him.
Mary Jane appears on the 1900 MO census in Ripley County
and died there about 1921. I would appreciate any help in
finding out the parentage of A.J. and Mary and anything
about their siblings. If anyone is interested in decendents
of this couple, I will be happy to send what I have on
them. Thanks. Note: Reposting to show change in email
address.
